Godvision!
Brothers and sisters let us start today with a prayer. “Holy Father, let YOUR words guide us, and set us on the right path, open our hearts and our minds to the truth spoken today, YOUR TRUTH, O Lord, let your words ring out true to what YOU have said, and what is written in the Holy Bible Lord. Let us worship in YOUR Holy name, and let our PRAISES be as fragrant as incense to you our HOLY Father. Thank you for this blessed day and thank you for allowing us to gather here today in YOUR NAME O Lord. Amen”
Godvision brothers and sisters, Godvision is what we need today, see when it comes to the human race, God sees a rainbow of color, and he created us as such so that we may fill HIS WORLD, HIS EARTH with such beautiful colors, beautiful people such as you and me. There is no difference in how HE sees us, or how HE treats us.
Come judgment day we will all be judged according to HIS LAWS, according to HIS MORALS, HIS ideas of right and wrong, we are all judged equally, and if that is the case, then why can’t we all treat each other in the same manner as God does?
We’re meant to love each other as God loves, As Jesus loves the church, we are to use that as our guide for treating each other, and brothers, sisters, we fail, horribly.
I was just watching an episode of the tv show Bull the other night and there was a very particular case that stuck in my head. The name of the episode was “child of mine” it aired during season 4 I believe it was episode 13, Now about this case.
A woman and her husband had tried for years to conceive a child to no avail, when she tried with medical help, low and behold she gave birth, but they had used the wrong person so to speak, and let’s just say the child was of a different color.
Now the parents loved the child but when his biological father found out He said something that stuck with me and was perfect for this sermon. He said He wants full custody of his son because when he turns 18, he must take him to the police dept. and introduce him, make sure they all know who he is and who his father is, just in case he is ever in trouble, they know to treat him better. They know they don’t have anything to fear from him, and because it was on a tv show this must be a common problem today.
Brothers and sisters, if this is how society works now if we are having to do things other People don’t, it’s a problem, A human problem, this is not how God wants us to live. People no matter where their roots are, where they come from, or who they have become as a person shouldn’t have to turn over their entire identity on their 18th birthday or even their 13th birthday, this is not what God intended for us.
I have another example for you, someone from Europe, here in the USA illegally is less likely to be pulled over, followed, or deported than someone of Spanish descent. Now, how wrong is that?

This is what the Bible says.
1 Peter chapter 4 verse 8 says “Above all, keep loving one another earnestly, since love covers a multitude of sins.”
John chapter 13 verses 34 through 35 says “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
1st Corinthians chapter 16 verse 14 says “Let all that you do be done in love.”
Romans chapter 13 verse 8 says “Owe no one anything, except to love each other, for the one who loves another has fulfilled the law.”
Leviticus chapter 19 verse 18 says “You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against the sons of your own people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.”
1st Corinthians chapter 13 verses 4 through 8 says “Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, and endures all things. Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away.”
Matthew chapter 22 verses 37 through 39 says “And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”
The Bible is a love letter Brothers and sisters, all throughout the Old and New Testament you will find that God mentions loving each other as Jesus loves us more times than anything else in the bible. 645 times the bible says “Love.” And we fall short, why is that, because we don’t have Godvision, we see color and we place judgment before we even know the person.
As stated at the beginning of this message we fall short, very short of seeing the rainbow of colors and people, we fall short of trusting each other and caring for one another because we place so much judgment on others it’s amazing that we can still function outside our own homes.
That’s not what God wants, that’s not what God has intended for us, THAT’S NOT HOW GOD WANTS US TO LIVE, our FATHER has a VISION for all of us, that ONE DAY WE WILL walk among our fellow men and women, and we will NOT pass judgment, WE WILL NOT see a single person’s color, but the whole rainbow HE has created, that we will ONLY SEE PEOPLE for who they are and that we WILL LIVE IN HARMONY.
Among us there are those who wish to do us harm, there are those who are criminals, and there are those who want nothing more than to be left alone to their own desires and devices. That is all well and good, but unless we start forgiving people and accepting them for who they are we will always have a problem and there will never be a solution.
Brothers and sisters, the bible, the Holy Bible is a guide, a love letter, a tool, it is wisdom and compassion but if we don’t follow it, if we ignore some teachings but not others, if we pick and choose what to listen too and how to follow, we will never change Society, we will never change the bigger picture, we will never obtain Godvision.
Now I pray, I pray today that you all have heard me, have read what I have said, and plan to change how you see others, how others see you, and how you see yourselves because if change doesn’t happen soon, our society is doomed to repeat history over and over and over.
We need Godvision, we need to see the world, and those who live here as a child does, they don’t see color, and they don’t pass judgment, Children are so innocent and that is how we need to live.
Let us close in prayer. “Father God, we thank you for your guidance, your words of wisdom, your vision for the future, we ask that you help each one of us change for the better, to make this world whole again, and help us see with YOUR EYES, and grant us YOUR VISION. So, we may be better individuals. That we may love our neighbors and care for strangers. And Lord we ask that you help these stereotypes go away and we can rejoice in each other’s accomplishments and truly be joyful of those around us. Thank you, Lord God, Amen.”
