Which Government do you live for?

Brothers and sisters let us open in prayer “Father God, we are here today to hear the good news, the instructions you may have for us, and we open our minds and our hearts to your teaching, we know that nothing is done or said without your guidance and in your name Lord, We ask that you take care of the weak, the sick, the hurt and the pain that your people experience and that you deliver all of us to a better place, help us understand your word, and let today’s lesson be illuminating. In your holy name Lord God, we pray this prayer, Amen”

The message for today Brothers and sisters, Which Government do you live for, but I think a better question is which Government do you follow. Do you live for God or for Country? Do you follow God’s word, or do you listen to society? Because they are two very different things, and you can’t live for both.

Psalm chapter 1 verses 1 through 6 “Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law, he meditates day and night. He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers. The wicked are not so but are like chaff that the wind drives away. Therefore, the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous;”

James chapter 3 verse 17 “But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, open to reason, full of mercy and good fruits, impartial and sincere.”

1 John chapter 2 verses 15 through 17 “Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessions—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.”

If we are of two mindsets, if we follow the laws of the nation, and the laws of God, then we cannot enter Heaven, we cannot be of two mindsets, because the things of this world will disappear, and then we are left with nothing.

If we follow the Laws of God, follow HIS teachings, and abide by the Government which resides in Heaven, then and only then can we pass on to a new life with the Father of all creation, One who loves us unconditionally and without remorse.

Living for the Government which resides in Heaven rather than the laws of our country, our land so to speak means that God knows what he is doing, and we have complete and utter confidence in HIM and HIM alone.

This is where things get a bit touchy though, and it must be said, living for Heaven, means there are only two genders, male and female, it also means abortion is murder and God said thou shall not kill. Although our Father says we are to love one another as Jesus loves the church and all who dwell in the Lord, being anything other than straight, and acting on those passions means that you will not see those pearly gates, because although mankind is to love one another, being “gay” and acting on it is an abomination to the Lord, even transgender will never see Heaven.

Deuteronomy chapter 22 verse 5 “A woman shall not wear a man's garment, nor shall a man put on a woman's cloak, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord your God.”

Leviticus chapter 20 verse 13 “If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.”

1 Corinthians chapter 6 verses 9 through 11 “Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men who practice homosexuality, nor thieves, nor the greedy, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God.”

Just because we are meant to love everyone, and just because the Father loves each one of us, doesn’t mean HE can’t act like a father. When we were disobeying our parents’ rules and our parents punished us, it didn’t mean they stopped loving us, that’s exactly how God is, only the lake of fire is a bit more extreme and for eternity. So, something to think about.

The laws that our Heavenly government has put in place, are laws that we must abide by if we want that Everlasting love and life that God has set aside for each one of us. But we must live for the Kingdom of Heaven and not for the greed and lust of this world, by following God’s Law, understanding what he wants for us, and living ONLY for HIM brothers and sisters can we achieve such greatness.

Living for God doesn’t mean we have to break the rules and laws set forth by our own governments either, by following God’s Law we are going above and beyond what our nations have set forth, by living God’s Law, we are righteous and glorified in HIM.

The next time you are challenged by someone brothers and sisters, who says they’re non-binary or whatever the case may be, you have two choices shrug it off knowing that they are of this world and ‘things” of this world will one day disappear or use it as a learning experience and describe to them the Love that Christ has for them and that what they are doing is wrong and show them the light.

We all know someone who needs Jesus in their lives, who needs to hear the word of the Lord, who needs the unconditional love and support that only God, the Great Spirit can give. Talk with them, show them through action and words how happy life can be, and help them understand.

“Father God, thank you for your word, your teaching, and your guidance, thank you for helping us understand right from wrong and which government we should live for, thank you for the gifts you have set aside for us and the grace and mercy that can only come from YOU Lord. Thank you for your son’s sacrifice so that we may have a bridge to YOU, and thank you for this glorious day that you have given us so we may be challenged, so we may have opportunities to share your word. In your holy name we pray this prayer Father, our Great Spirit, Amen”
