Good morning brothers and sisters, and a very big hello to all my #RebelFam and #RebelArmy before we begin let us open in prayer,
“Father God, we come to you with open hearts, open minds, and a willingness to hear the words you have for us today and learn the lessons that you have planned for us. Father God we ask that you be with us, fill us with your spirit and help us see the reasons behind our personal storms so that we may rise up stronger and with a better understanding of who we are, You and You alone are the creator, the alpha and the omega, the end-all to everything and we need you Lord, we need you in our lives, at our jobs, in our cars, in our congregation, and most importantly we need you in our homes and in our hearts, Thank you for all that you do for us, thank you for the happy days, the hard work we have to keep us busy, and all the times in-between. You are THE Father, and we love you.”
Brothers and sisters, God is Alive, God is Here, with us, He’s in all of us, whether you are a sinner or not, whether you believe or not, whether YOU ACKNOWLEDGE HIM OR NOT, God is with us, and that is a very powerful feeling, to know that OUR FATHER, is watching over us, keeping us safe, even when it seems like we’re not, even in times of turmoil and trouble, HE and HE ALONE takes the brunt of the damage so to speak, whatever we are afflicted with, whatever gets to us, defiles us, or harms us, just imagine that, being ten times worse, and it’s because OUR FATHER takes most of it.
What we need to realize is that we have free will, everyone, everyone on God’s green and blue earth has free will, freedom of choice, freedom to believe or not to believe, freedom to choose to do evil or be the good “guy” and when bad things happen, as they will, God will watch over us and protect us.
Look at it from an earthly father’s perspective, and I mean a good father, not a deadbeat, someone such as myself. I want to be there for my children, I want to watch over them, protect them, stop them from getting hurt, stop the pain when they do, I want so much to be there in that moment when something so life-threatening, so critical happens that I am able to sacrifice myself allow myself to be hurt, or worse so that they don’t have to be. That’s how our Father in Heaven is.
There is nothing in this world that God will let happen to us that we can’t handle, if the storm turns into a category 10 hurricane, he will do everything he can to make sure that whatever we can handle it’s lessened if you can handle a category 7 but your neighbor can only handle a category three, he will be there to make sure we all pull through. We might have some bumps, bruises, even severe pain, but we can handle it as long as God is your strength just as HE is mine, brothers, and sisters.
Yes, there are some examples in the HOLY TEXT, immediately at least 99.9% of you jump to Job, and yes He did allow evil to happen to Job, but HE KNEW Job… could handle it.
Job chapter 2 verses 6 through 10 The Lord said to Satan, “Very well, then, he is in your hands; but you must spare his life.” So, Satan went out from the presence of the Lord and afflicted Job with painful sores from the soles of his feet to the crown of his head. Then Job took a piece of broken pottery and scraped himself with it as he sat among the ashes. His wife said to him, “Are you still maintaining your integrity? Curse God and die!” He replied, “You are talking like a foolish woman. Shall we accept good from God, and not trouble?” In all this, Job did not sin in what he said.
Job chapter 5 verses 8 through 16 “But if I were you, I would appeal to God; I would lay my cause before him. He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted. He provides rain for the earth; he sends water on the countryside. The lowly he sets on high,
and those who mourn are lifted to safety. He thwarts the plans of the crafty so that their hands achieve no success. He catches the wise in their craftiness, and the schemes of the wily are swept away. Darkness comes upon them in the daytime; at noon they grope as in the night. He saves the needy from the sword in their mouth; he saves them from the clutches of the powerful. So the poor have hope, and injustice shuts its mouth.
And on and on Job goes on with his friends, because he has a strong faith, but even better, he has God to strengthen him.
We all need God, brothers, and sisters, we all need HIM in our lives, and not just in troubled times, we need HIM all the time, even in the good and joyous times, WE need HIM. Without our Father, there can be no healing, no protection, no comfort, no love or forgiveness, Like I said before God is THE END ALL.
When HE stated that HE is the Alpha and the Omega, The Beginning and The End, it’s exactly what HE meant. There is NOTHING without GOD.
Matthew chapter 19 verse 26 says “But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”
1 Corinthians chapter 10 verse 13 says “No temptation has overtaken you that is not common to man. God is faithful, and he will not let you be tempted beyond your ability, but with the temptation, he will also provide the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.”
If you’re going through something, if you feel all hope is gone and you feel cold and alone, you tell yourself that things are good or even great when they’re not, it’s time to stop lying to yourself, and have faith that OUR MIGHTY FATHER is carrying you through these troubled times, and that he has your back. YOU are strengthened by YOUR faith and YOUR obedience to our Father brothers and sisters.
Just as Jesus loves each and every one of us, I too love each and every one of you. Please, if you’re going through a storm, if you feel you need guidance, email me, contact me, I’m here to help.
Let us close in prayer,
“Father, guide us through the week, be with us, carry us, and let us feel your presence, we are all sinners, we are all humbled by YOUR greatness Lord, and we need you now more than ever before, we ask that you continue to love us, forgive us and show us mercy because we are not perfect, there was only one who was perfect, and he was sacrificed so that we may spend eternity with YOU in YOUR house. Lord, we thank you for your Son, Jesus and with the Easter season approaching, His life, His being, His Sacrifice, has so much meaning and shows just how much love you have for us. We are a grateful people. In your holy name, we pray. Amen.”
